Aside from my fulltime job as Clinical Supervisor of the Behavioral Health Department of a large agency in Philadelphia, I am also providing LPC Supervision in Philadelphia.

In order to receive your LPC in Pennsylvania, along with the successful completion of 60 credit hours of required graduate courses and passing of the NCE, Master’s level counselors must complete 3000 hours of work under the supervision of a License Supervisor who meets the requirements set forth by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors.

Pennsylvania LPC Requirements

A license supervisee must receive 1 hour of supervision for every 20 hours worked per week in order to count those hours towards the 3000 supervised hours they must accumulate to be eligible for licensure.  This means that if a supervisee is working a full time job (40 hours per week) they will need 150 one hour supervision sessions with a qualified supervisor to account for the 3000 supervised hours necessary for licensure.

In order to obtain the LPC as quickly as possible, while working a full time job, supervisees should receive 2 hours of supervision per week from a qualified supervisor.  Half of the hours supervised MUST be individual supervision sessions that are conducted in person.  The other half may be group supervision sessions that are conducted in person.

I have worked with a wide variety of populations and in a wide range of settings in the Philadelphia area for close to 10 years.  I have experience working with adults, adolescence, children, couples, and families.  I have worked as a Clinical Supervisor at outpatient facilities and for BHRS programs supervising licensed supervisees along with experienced licensed clinicians.  In my practice as a therapist I draw heavily from Existential Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness Based Approaches, Family Systems Theory, and various other therapy modalities.  I place a high importance on multi-cultural competency and trauma informed care.

I am currently accepting new license supervisees in the Philadelphia area.  My rates are the following:

Individual Supervision Session:  $60

Group Supervision Session:  $25 (Group Supervision is only available to License Supervisees who are currently receiving Individual Supervision from me.)

Prior to the beginning of supervision, I will meet with you in person or conduct a consultation via telephone at no charge to discuss the details of what supervision will look like and determine if we both believe we will be a good clinical fit.
